Across the Cape, God’s people have knelt, stood and sat, always making prayers to the God of heaven for more than four centuries. They have prayed in churches and homes. They have asked God for his will on earth by making intercession on street corners, in emergency rooms and for the schools of our community. In the last 25 years, the unity of many of the Cape’s praying people has coalesced the Glory of God on Cape Cod. This movement, capped by a monthly time of prayer and worship, includes dozens of disciples from numerous churches. They believe the Lord is calling forth all His people on Cape Cod across denominational lines, ages, and theological differences, to corporate unity in the Body of Christ. They are calling the body of Christ on Cape Cod to come together as one, to stand in the gap in prayer and intercession for this land; to cry out collectively for the glory of God in our midst and the subsequent outbreak of revival.
